Awesome breakfast place! All homemade goodness including the breads and pastries. We come here every time we come to Sunday River. It's hit or miss on a whether or not you'll have a wait. We've enjoyed sharing our table with locals before. It's where the locals go!

Great for hikers! The owner showed us, two AT hikers, tremendous hospitality even offering a place for us to sleep that night in his home. The food at the diner was great too and the deck is a nice location for a warm, sunny day. Highly recommend this place for all, especially hungry hikers. Good portions!

We had pizza and cheeseburger with hand cut fries. Both were fabulous! Takes a lot for me to give compliments, but this was the best I've had lately here in Maine. Very good.

Stop in for lunch, had a burger and fries, burger was fresh and juicy, tasted great, fries were hand cut and fresh. Service was good and friendly. Worth stopping for.

We stopped here on a whim and will return. Good, basic food priced right. Plus friendly, courteous service, what more could you ask for.

We stopped in on a whim and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was incredible and our waiter was attentive.

The staff was very friendly . Try the corn chowder - it was hearty and delicious with a small spinach salad.

Great NY style pizza. Drove past two other pizza places to get here.

Nice Guy Eddie

Great local establishment. Had a very nice lunch and got the experience of eating at the counter watching the cooks practice their trade. Very efficient:)

Awesome food! We had the crab cakes benedict and long haul (?) breakfast, as well as the french toast. The portions are large and the quality is exceptional. It's a real deal small town cafe/diner.

Great local slice of a small Maine town! We were in the Bethel area for 6 days and ate with Frank 5 times! And, had time permitted when we left town, we would have eaten breakfast once again. The Gerrgia crackers from Atlanta say hello to Frank! We enjoyed it all!

Happy Customer

My wife is the type that likes to avoid the "chain" eateries and try out the local places. We stopped here on our way north and we are SO glad we did! Great local atmosphere, very friendly staff and the food was excellent. We got there around 8:30 in the morning and by 9 the place was packed! Highly recommend the Crossroads Diner if you are ever in the Bethel area, you won't regret it!

I found this place to be friendly and with good food. I ate here several times over the past few days and was always pleased with my meals. The prices are reasonable and the food homemade. I loved the lasagna and the quiche! I always felt welcome and I will come back.

Old school diner that's so hard to find nowadays. Wicked awesome blt, onion rings, hand cut French fries and cheeseburger. Being on the bike I wish I'd had a half sandwich. Blt was best I've bag in years. For slightly more than a fast food joint, unreal. The salads and other lunches wet saw looked killer!!! We're an hour or so away but plan I making a trip for dinner, breakfast, lunch again or just next trip to the white mountains.

Thank you much,

David & Pat
